Cirencester-technology-company-expands-into-US

UBC has long enjoyed the privilege of supporting hundreds of regional businesses. We’re well aware that this corner of the Cotswolds is home to many talented entrepreneurs and ambitious businesses - but don’t just take our word for it.

Code Software, a technology company that has been based at UBC’s Business Centre at Cirencester Office Park since 2015, has recently announced the company’s expansion into the U.S.

Having provided flexible workspace to SMEs in Cirencester since 2008,

Launched in October 2013, Code Software specialises in the field of call reporting and analytics for Unified Communications (UC). The company developed their own user-driven solution, which is used by organisations large and small across the world.

It’s this geographical spread combined with ongoing company growth that led the Code Software team to expand into the U.S. and set up an office in Austin, Texas.

The U.S. venture is led by Jason Weaver, who is currently building a local team to service the entire Americas region. Jason says he is “excited to start a new challenge”, adding: “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on top quality service and product.”

Mark Armstrong, Managing Director, said: “I am confident that Jason will play a key role in developing our solutions and rapidly expanding our customer and partner base in the Americas. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to being the leading company in our industry.”

On this side of the pond, Code Software continues to run its global operations from the team’s UK head office in Cirencester. The company has been based in the Gloucestershire town since 2015, which, according to Mark, was a natural choice:

“Living locally, Cirencester UBC was the obvious next step for Code. The convenience of having an office with managed services allows the team to focus on day-to-day tasks. Plus, the ease in which you can just turn up and work encourages a productive, positive working attitude.”

Commenting on Code Software’s recent growth trajectory and next steps, Mark added: “As an organisation we are continuing to grow through a network of global partners.

“At Code we are aware that technology never stands still, so we are always looking to develop and release new solutions to assist our customers.”
